LG and AT&T together launched a new touchscreen phone to help your productivity and entertainment, called the LG Encore. Encore phone has the price of a mid-entry, but includes high-end features. The LG Encore targets social networking service fans that are looking for an affordable touch phone and low price. The Encore is now available in AT&T with the price $49.99 with a 2-year service agreement and a $50.00 online discount.

The new LG Encore phone supports quad-band GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, 3.6Mbps HSDPA 3G, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR with support for A2DP, and GPS navigation facility along with GSM, GPRS, and EDGE. Encore touchscreen phone includes an attractive media player that features streaming radio stations and certified Dolby Mobile playback. The LG Encore also has a customizable menu, three screen menus and quick access to social sites such as Facebook
