HTC - March 15th, 2011
Verizon Wireless has just announced that their latest smartphone HTC Thunderbolt will arrive on March 17th. The Android LTE smartphone will be released for $249 with a two-year customer contract and will push you to sign up for an unlimited LTE data plan which costs $29.99 per month. The HTC Thunderbolt Smartphone will also include free mobile hotspot from launch until May 15th. After May 15th, the mobile hotspot will cost $20 per month.
Verizon Wireless HTC Thunderbolt Specs
- Mobile Hotspot capability – share 4G connection with up to eight Wi-Fi-enabled devices
- 4G LTE – customers can expect download speeds of 5 to 12 Mbps and upload speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps in 4G Mobile Broadband coverage area
- 4.3” WVGA display
- Built-in kickstand for easy media viewing
- 8 GB of onboard memory and a pre-installed 32 GB microSD card (Actual formatted capacity will be less)
- 1.3-megapixel front facing camera with video chatting capabilities
- Newest generation of the 1GHz Snapdragon processor
The HTC Thunderbolt smartphone will be available at Verizon Stores and online stores at www.verizonwireless.com.
