The Android Market User will be getting log of update, also the update will add two new categories immediately for widget and live wallpapers. Android team also promised to add more topics in the weeks ahead to organize the chaotic collection of apps.
All android users will quickly flip through the carousel to view promoted applications and also directly go to download page for the application they want. Android Developers have been very active in making awesome widgets and live wallpapers. The new categories will be automatically received new applications that include widget and wallpapers. More categories will be added also for popular applications and game in the weeks ahead. We can check the app details page and now they are filled by relate content that makes is easier for user to find apps of similar interest.
To give look and feel of the browse-to-purchase experience, now users can gain access to all information about an application on a single page without navigate all different tabs. Android team also introducing application content rating to provide users with more information about applications they are interested in. Since most users who request a refund do so within minutes of purchase, Android team will reduce the refund window on Market to 15 minutes. This change will be largely transparent to buyers, but will help developers manage their businesses more effectively.
To make it easier for developers to distribute and manage their products, Android team will introduce support for device targeting based on screen sizes and densities, as well as on GL texture compression formats. Android team also increasing the maximum size for .apk files on Market to 50MB, to better support richer games.With this release,Android team aimed to deliver features that are most requested by users and developers.
